WinSphere : calculator for recruitment agencies
Fill in your own numbers, with the slider or simply typed. The calculator works out what the candidates you once sourced, called and paid for could be worth now: and what every month of waiting costs.
Your situation
Everything counts: runners-up, past placements, near-miss candidates. Bigger file than the slider allows? Just type it in.
What a placement brings in on average, in euros.
Searching, approaching, calling: the hours before a conversation is booked.
The assumptions, adjust them yourselfassumption
This is an adjustable assumption, not a promise. The example value is deliberately conservative; set it to your own experience with reactivation.
Latent revenue in the database
€ 180,000
per year, at 10 placements from reactivation
What one month of waiting costs
€ 15,000
candidate data ages: people change jobs while nobody is looking
Sourcing hours saved
200 hrs
€ 13,000 in consultant hours
a placement from your own database skips the sourcing
Reactivation does not replace personal contact, it makes sure that contact happens again.
What this means in practice
Most agencies solve an empty pipeline with new candidates: more sourcing hours, more job board credits, sometimes an extra recruiter. The database you already paid for is left untouched, because nobody has the time to work through it systematically.
We do it the other way around. First the data in order: duplicates out, enriched, segmented by who is realistically movable right now. Only then automation that approaches those people at the right moment, in your own tone of voice. Your consultants have the conversations, we make sure there are conversations again.
For recruitment agencies with an ATS that is a few years old or older, that is almost always the fastest revenue available.
How we calculate
Latent revenue = (candidates / 1,000) x placements per 1,000 per year x average fee. Hours saved = expected placements x sourcing hours per placement. Your input stays in your browser and nothing is stored. Your calculation is only sent along when you request a database scan yourself.
The placement ratio is an adjustable assumption because every database is different: the age of the data, the sector and the seniority level determine the real number. That is why this page calculates with your own input instead of a neat average.
